hello!!!!!!! i am from finland and i have ford granada glx -73 3.0 v6 my grand father gived that car to me about eight year a go!!! i fixed that all the time and meybe tree yers i fixed that and then i meybe can drive that because that car was very bad loking!! but i love my granada!!!!!! sorry, my english is not very good!!!!!!!!!!! |

Great site ,i owned over twenty mk1s+mk2s since the late eighties may be someone can shed some light on where they are now.
NPH 381P 3.0GHIA SALOON ,IN RARE JADE GREEN ,1975,last seen in the tooting,london area gracing a arfur daley style forcourt for ?350 in approx 1991
RPJ 166R 2.0GL SALOON IN ARIZONA GOLD,1977 ,LAST SEEN IN TOLWORTH SURREY ,WAS A MANUAL MODEL,WITH EARLER BLACK LEATHER GHIA TRIM +WHEELS i sold this in 1991last seen one year later.
AND FINALLY A414 OVW a rare auto 2.8injection i only sold two years ago,known to be in Feltham,Middx area ,i owned and cherished this for over 12 years and it was a ford press car when new and has every option fitted.factory black with polished imported ford rs wheels
chances are the mk1s have been bangered ,the ghia was fairly poor condition around the usual places but you never know!!

I have come to the time in my life when my Granny has to go. I have had 5 in my life and this one is the best I have seen, a fine example of what manufacturers can do. She is as good as new with 99000 on the clock and it will be a sad day when she has a new owner. Good luck, long live the Granny. |

hello gary , LCJ 196P, after two blown engines in one year a new floor on the passengers side from bottom of bulkhead to back seat including new chassis rails, two wings, steering rack , rebuilt drivers door, second hand passenger door, putting back the proper headlights,wielding up the bulkhead (thats why the carpets got wet) ,fitting new rear valence and sorting out the rust in the boot and seals, window screen posts, door posts ,countless sets of brake pads, new interior even the roof lining , not to mention a new gear box ,propshaft,trying to sort out the sun roof so i could get that tape off (45 bloody quid i paid for a seal! floor still got wet see about bulkhead) even got a boonet off of bernie the big hairy belgium banger racer, all set for a paint job after getting the front valence done and some stupid c8@t in a bloody escort skids on a wet road straight into it . After all that time and money, trips to tonys sourcing bits from banger boys etc the poor old girl ended her days doing a few laps round swaffham got video if you want to see it. Did i enjoy LCJ 196P? YES. Did i buy her with my eyes shut ? yes.Would i buy another 14 mile to a gallon old banger as long as it did not need as much work as the last one? TO BLOODY RIGHT I WOULD just point me in the right direction (but dont tell the wife) |
