I've find out, that there are two different body shapes of Granada/Consul coupe cars.I mean that wave above rear wheels. Here in Czech republic are just few Granni coupe cars, the only one with the wave i know is owned by my friend, wery confused one, not able answer this question.I own two Taunus GXL coupe cars, there is everything clear :-) Thanks for your reactions!!! I've just found your site Gary, and I've really enjoyed looking around. Like yourself I'm a Granada enthusiast. I'm a member of the mark1 Granada owners club. I have restored a black '77 Mk1 2 litre and I also have a mk2 2.8i ghia x. I look forward to keeping in touch through this site.

very nice site, i have a '74 coupe which has been dry-stored for 17yrs, and shortly will start to put the car back on the road. the car was re-shelled after an accident in '81, with a body shell that was bought from ford's clearance stock, and most of the chrome was replaced at the same time. i do however need a driver's side rear wing moulding, and probably some engine and gearbox spares. could you please email me the photo of the coupe in miami blue (metallic). thanks, Ray Jarvis

My car was originally powered by 2,1 dieselengine, but its main pump went broken and because 2,1 D-engine is not very good one, I replaced it with another, 2,5D-engine. Front axel need a lot of work and brakes are still out of order, but I am on it. You have very nice page there!!!

I am fifteen, and I am now working on a 77, which was my great aunts. It has under fifty thousand miles on it.Also I have a F-100 62,which it will probably be sanded down with a 400 grit, primed and painted a deep sparkling maroon, sometime this week. The money will be takin from my bank account, that my dad generously gave to me when I was about 6 or 7.It was my great grandfathers, which he bought it brand new back in the good old days. When people actually cared about what was under the hood, than the appearance.I might be a hippocrite, But it needs a new paint job. I love Fords. Everboby enjoy your granades. LATER
